While trying to burn a disk of family photos, videos, and slideshows I ran into an apple conundrum. It is possible to do it in Apple but the Apple process is cumbersome. Toast simpliefied the disk burn to a drag and drop. It takes awhile, and if some non-photo, or non-video docs are in the dragged in folder it will still burn the disk- but the burned disk will stop when hitting the non supported docs (ie ms word etc).

Burn time is long( an hour)- but my Apple “superdrive” could be a contributor. Burn speed is between 1x and 4X- which seems slow. My iMac with OS10.10.4, 2.7 GHz Intel Core 5 with 12 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 memory which should be enough processor and memory. I found that shutting off all non necessary applications improved burn and write time.

Still it works. is stable, and is reliable. I gave it 5 stars.
